Transportation from Athens Airport to Patras by Public Transport
Traveling from Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) to the city of Patras by public transportation is straightforward, with two main options:

The most direct and popular option is the intercity KTEL bus service. From Athens Airport, you take the X95 express bus to Kifissos Bus Terminal in Athens, which takes about 45 minutes. There is no direct train service connecting Athens Airport to Patras. However, you can take the Athens suburban railway (Proastiakos) from Athens Airport to Athens Central Railway Station (Larissa Station). From Larissa Station, you can take a train to Kiato, a town in the northern Peloponnese. Therefore, from Kiato, you would typically need to take a bus or taxi to Patras, about 45 km away. Please note this option requires multiple transfers and may take longer than the direct bus.
